You know, I saw this thing, this new Nico Robin statue, and let me tell you, it’s somethin’ else. Now, I ain’t one for these fancy things, but I gotta say, it caught my eye. It’s a statue of that Nico Robin girl, from that show, you know, the one with the pirates, One Piece, yeah, that’s it.
This Nico Robin, she’s a pretty one. And this statue, it’s big! Like, 30 centimeters tall, I heard. That’s about, uh, from my elbow to my fingers, I reckon. They call it, this one I saw it called Dingbge Nico Robin Figure, it’s big, like 13.3 Inch. They say it’s gonna be ready by the end of the year, somethin’ about Q4 2023. I don’t know what that means, but sounds important, don’t it?
They only makin’ a few of ’em, 198 of these Nico Robin statues, they said. Not many at all! So if you want one, you better hurry up. It is one piece anime, this show, one of the popular animes, people say. I don’t watch much of it, but my grandkids, they love it. They keep talkin’ about Luffy and his straw hat, and all them adventures. Seems like a lot of runnin’ around to me, but what do I know?
- This Nico Robin, she’s got special powers, that’s what they tell me.
- She can make extra arms and legs appear, like magic!
- That’s why they call her the “Devil Child” or somethin’. Sounds spooky, don’t it?
This statue, it’s made of some fancy stuff, resin and somethin’ called imported PU, whatever that is. I just know it looks real nice. And get this, the moon on it, it lights up! Two ways, too. One way it just stays lit, and the other way it kinda pulses, like it’s breathin’. They call it, uh, constant light mode and breathin’ mode. Fancy, huh? Sounds like somethin’ from one of them science fiction shows.
They got different versions of these Nico Robin statues, too, I saw. Some are just regular, and some are special, they call ’em EX. I don’t know what that means either, but it sounds fancy, don’t it? I think it means it’s even better than the regular ones. These one piece anime statues, they are popular, I guess.
Now, I seen some other statues, too. There’s one called Banpresto, made by a company called Bandai. Sounds Japanese, don’t it? They make a whole bunch of these statues, not just Nico Robin. All sorts of characters from that One Piece show, and others, too. They ain’t as fancy as this new Nico Robin statue, but they’re cheaper, I reckon. This one is for, what they say, anime fans, and there’s also one for, um, hexapodidae, whatever that is.
There’s another one, they call it the “Thug” figure. Now that’s a funny name, ain’t it? But it’s supposed to be real elegant, this Nico Robin Thug statue. They say you can put it with other statues and make a whole scene, like a little story. This one piece, it’s a big deal, I guess.
If you like collectin’ these things, these statues, they got a place called, uh, Hexapus ACG, or somethin’ like that. They got all sorts of ’em, not just this Nico Robin statue. Seems like a whole world of these things, don’t it? This one piece anime, it’s more than just a show, huh?
This Nico Robin, she’s a pirate, but she ain’t a bad one, from what I hear. She’s smart, and she helps people. She reads a lot of books, too. My grandkids, they like her a lot. They say she’s strong and brave, and she always does what’s right, even when it’s hard.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a new Nico Robin statue, this one seems like a good one. It’s big, it’s detailed, and it’s got that light-up moon. It’s a bit pricey, I’m sure, but if you’re a real fan of that One Piece show, maybe it’s worth it. Or if you like anime, this is a good one, people say. This new statue, it’s surely somethin’ special.
I don’t know much about these things, but I know what I like. And this Nico Robin statue, well, it’s somethin’ special. It’s like a little piece of that One Piece world, right there in your house. And that’s kinda neat, ain’t it? Even for an old lady like me.
