Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Blue Box Magazine” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I wanted to share my whole process, from start to finish, ’cause it’s kinda cool.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed some sturdy cardboard. I wanted to make sure it was strong enough to stand up on its own. You know, not some flimsy stuff that’ll just flop over.
Then I measured out the size I wanted. I didn’t get too precise with it, just eyeballed it to look like a magazine.I cut 2 pieces of cardboard into the dimensions.
Painting that sucker blue
I took my carboard and some blue paint,The kind of blue that just pops, you know? Not some dull, boring blue. I wanted something that would stand out, Then I slapped on the paint. Just a couple of coats, making sure to get all the edges and corners. Nothing fancy, just a good, solid blue.
Assemble all the pieces
After the two pieces of cardboard all dry.I used some glue to fix them.I added some extra decorations, like stickers and cutouts, just to give it some extra flair. I didn’t go overboard, though. I wanted to keep it simple and clean.
Show it off
Finally, I put the whole thing together. I added a few little details, like a fake barcode and some text, just to make it look more realistic.I propped it up on my desk and, boom, instant Blue Box Magazine!
It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. And I learned a lot along the way. Like, don’t underestimate the power of a good coat of paint. And don’t be afraid to just wing it sometimes. That’s how you get the best results, at least in my experience.
