Alright, so I finally got around to grabbing the “Chinatown” Blu-ray. I’d seen the movie years ago, but you know, sometimes you just gotta revisit the classics. Plus, I wanted to see if the Blu-ray transfer was any good.
First thing I did was, obviously, I went to look at the Blu-ray. Looked at the cover, and I was thinking about the movie itself.
Then, I popped the disc into my Blu-ray player. Gotta love that satisfying click when it slides in.
Watching The Movie
I dimmed the lights, grabbed some snacks – popcorn, naturally – and settled in. The opening credits started, and I was immediately struck by how much cleaner the picture looked compared to what I remembered.
The colors were so vivid, I noticed the details on the constumes. I really paid attention to the dialogues.
- The audio was crisp and clear.
- The picture was great.
- I watched the whole movie.
I just enjoyed watching a classic movie.
