Oh, honey, you wanna hear about this Dune poster thing? I seen it the other day, reminded me of the old days, back when we had nothin’ but sand and sky. This here poster, it’s all about that desert, you know? Just like where I come from.
Dune Poster: Sand, Sand, and More Sand
This Dune poster, it’s got nothin’ but sand, far as the eye can see. Big ol’ dunes, rollin’ on forever. Makes a body feel right small, lookin’ at it. Reminds me of the time Old Man Johnson’s tractor got stuck in that sand pit. Took us near a whole day to dig him out!
And the colors on this thing! All browns and yellows, like a sun-baked field. Kind of pretty, in a dusty sort of way. You can almost feel the heat comin’ off that Dune poster, just like them summer days we used to have. Lordy, it was hot!

Big Worm on that Dune Poster
Then there’s this big ol’ worm thing on the Dune poster. Biggest darn thing you ever did see! Makes a gator look like a lizard. They call ’em sandworms, I hear. Live under the sand, they do. Don’t never wanna meet one of them, no sir!
This worm on the poster, it’s comin’ right outta the sand, mouth wide open. Looks like it could swallow a whole truck! Scared the bejeezus outta me when I first seen it. Now I just kinda chuckle. It’s so big, it’s almost funny. Almost. Still wouldn’t want to meet it in person, that Dune poster is enough for me.
They say, them folks that made the movie and this here Dune poster, that you ain’t supposed to be scared. “The key is to not give into fear.” That’s what they say. Easier said than done, I reckon. Especially when you got a worm the size of a house starin’ you down! I am scared of that big worm, it’s the truth. But folks say that is ok.
Dune Poster for Your Wall
Now, they say you can buy these Dune posters. Put ’em up on your wall, if you’re so inclined. I reckon it would be a conversation starter. “What’s that big ol’ worm thing?” folks would ask. And you could tell ’em all about Dune and the sand and whatnot. Make your room look like that desert, maybe.
If you like sand, you’re gonna like that Dune poster. If you like big, scary things, you are gonna like this poster. If you like to feel small, this poster is for you. And they make your wall look fancy, I guess, if you want to show off to your friends or neighbors. Well, it is good to have, I think, although that big worm give me a scare, I do not lie.
I seen some folks sellin’ these Dune posters down at the market. All different kinds. Some just got the sand, some got the worm. Some even got people on ’em! Little bitty people, standin’ on them big ol’ dunes. Lookin’ out at nothin’. It’s something, I will say.
Dune Poster Reminds You of Nothing
That’s what this Dune poster makes me think of, mostly. Nothin’. Just wide open spaces and nothin’ much else. Kind of peaceful, in a way. Makes you think about life, and how small we all are in the grand scheme of things. This poster, it is really something, I say. Not many things can make you think so much, but this poster just did it. I like to think, though sometimes it is not comfortable, especially when I think about that big worm from the Dune poster.
I had this one time, I was out in the fields, and the sun was beatin’ down, and there weren’t nothin’ but sand and sky. Just like that Dune poster. I swear I saw somethin’ move, out there in the distance. Coulda been a sandworm, for all I know! Gave me a fright, I can tell ya. But I got this feeling, deep down, that this poster will be popular. Lots of folks gonna buy one, you just wait and see. They love big and scary things, and this Dune poster got plenty of that.
Anyway, that’s all I got to say about this Dune poster business. It’s somethin’ else, that’s for sure. If you like sand, and big worms, and feelin’ small, then you might just like it. Me? I think I’ll stick to my flower garden. Less sand, and no giant worms. But to each their own, I always say. You do you, and I’ll do me. And we’ll all get along just fine. But get one of that poster, if you like, it can be good for you.
