Hey guys, I’ve been working on something fun lately, and I thought I’d share my little adventure with you all. It involves this cute character named Eva, who’s an owl, and some drama at her school, Treetop Owlementary. So, let’s dive into what I’ve been up to!
First off, I started by brainstorming. I mean, what do you do when you have a character like Eva and her world? I made a list of all the things that popped into my head. How can I make Eva’s life more interesting? What kind of trouble can she get into? Things like that. I ended up with a bunch of ideas, like how to surprise Eva, or how she feels when her friends don’t believe her about something. You know, typical school stuff but with an owl twist.

Then, I got down to creating some stuff. I drafted a questionnaire. Yeah, a questionnaire! It’s filled with questions like, “What surprises could we throw Eva’s way?” and “How does she deal with her classmates doubting her?” I even added, “What big event could totally change how her classmates see the school ghost?” It was pretty fun to come up with these questions, imagining all sorts of scenarios.
- Brainstorming ideas for Eva’s adventures
- Creating a fun questionnaire
- Drafting story outlines
After that, I moved on to planning a story. Mrs. Featherbottom, Eva’s teacher, has a surprise – a new teacher is joining the school! I thought, “This is it! This is where the fun begins.” I started mapping out the story, thinking about how Eva would react, what challenges she’d face, and of course, how she’d make a new friend. Because, let’s face it, making new friends is a big deal when you’re a young owl.
I also toyed with the idea of Eva organizing a spring festival at school. I know, it sounds ambitious, right? But I thought it would be a great way to show Eva taking charge. Of course, she gets a little overwhelmed – who wouldn’t be? There’s so much to do, and even with her best friend Lucy helping, it’s a tough job. I even considered throwing a little twist in there, like maybe Eva has to ask Sue, her rival, for help. The drama!
I spent a lot of time writing and rewriting, trying to get the story just right. I wanted it to be something that kids would enjoy, something that teaches them about friendship, overcoming jealousy, and all those important life lessons. It’s been a real journey, let me tell you.
Finally, after all that hard work, I managed to create a series of stories that I’m really proud of. I think these stories are not just entertaining, but they also have some good messages for young readers. I can see kids picking up these books and growing with Eva, learning all about the ups and downs of school life and friendship.

And that’s pretty much what I’ve been up to! It’s been a blast creating this world for Eva and her friends, and I’m excited to see where I can take them next. If you’ve got kids or if you’re just a fan of cute owl stories, I think you’ll really enjoy what I’ve put together. Let me know what you think, and stay tuned for more updates!
