Okay, so I saw this cool poster for the new Hunger Games movie, “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” and I thought, “I wanna try and recreate that!” So I did and the whole process is recorded here, it was kind of a ride.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed a bunch of pictures online. You know, of the main characters, like young Snow and Lucy Gray. And I also looked for some good shots of snakes and birds, ’cause, well, the title.
Putting It Together
- I opened up my go-to editing program. I don’t wanna do ads here, but you need somthing can do the job.
- Then I started messing around with the layout. I wanted Snow and Lucy Gray to be the main focus, so I placed their images front and center.
- Next, I added in the snake and bird images. I played around with their sizes and positions until it felt right, kind of like a puzzle.
- After that, it’s all about adding effect and adjust the color tone, try to make it looks like the real one.
The Final Touches
I spent a good chunk of time just tweaking things. I adjusted the colors, added some shadows, and made sure everything looked balanced. The goal was to make it look dramatic, like the actual movie poster.
The Result!
I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! It’s not exactly the same as the original, but it definitely captures the vibe. It was a fun little project, and it made me appreciate how much work goes into designing those movie posters.
