Okay, so today I decided to dive into my comic collection and pull out the “Frank Miller Signature 2017 All-Star Batman”. I’ve had this thing for a while, and honestly, I just wanted to appreciate it, you know? Really look at it.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed the comic from its protective sleeve and board. Gotta be careful with these things! I laid it down on my desk, making sure I had good lighting. I’m not a professional grader or anything, but I wanted to see the condition up close.
Checking Out the Signature
The main thing, of course, was Frank Miller’s signature. I examined where it was placed on the cover – nice and bold, right across Batman’s chest. 2017 all star batman, yep, it’s the right one.
Looking at the Overall Condition
- I gently flipped through the pages, checking for any major creases, tears, or anything like that.
- I looked at the spine, making sure it was still tight and the staples were intact.
- I even checked the corners of the cover for any bending or wear. Minor wear.
Appreciating the Art
After the “inspection”, I just took some time to actually read the comic. I mean, that’s why I have it, right? I really soaked in the artwork and the story.
Putting it Away
Finally, I carefully placed the comic back in its protective sleeve and board, and put it back in its storage box.
It was not anything to exited, but it was a good way to spend an hour, re-connecting with a cool piece of my collection. It’s the little things, you know?
