Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this game called Helldivers 2, right? And let me tell you, it’s tough as nails. So I thought, why not try to make things a bit easier? That’s when I started looking into making a trainer for it. Here’s how it went down.
Diving In
First off, I had to figure out how this game works under the hood. I spent a good chunk of time just playing the game, getting a feel for the mechanics, and where I could potentially tweak things. You know, like ammo counts, health, that sort of stuff.

Getting My Hands Dirty
Next, I started poking around the game’s memory. Now, I’m no expert, but I’ve dabbled a bit in this area before. I used some tools to scan the game’s memory while it was running. It was like searching for a needle in a haystack, but eventually, I started finding some interesting values.
- Infinite Ammo: This was one of the first things I wanted to crack. After a lot of trial and error, I found the memory address that controlled the ammo count. A bit of tweaking, and bam! Unlimited bullets.
- God Mode: This one was trickier. It took a while to pinpoint the health values, but once I did, I could make my character invincible. No more dying, at least for me.
- Speed Boost: I also messed around with the player’s speed. Found the right values and cranked them up. Running around the map like a maniac was pretty fun.
Putting It All Together
Once I had a few cheats working, I decided to make a simple trainer program. I cobbled together a basic user interface with buttons to toggle the cheats on and off. Nothing fancy, but it got the job done. And I call it “Fling”.
Sharing Is Caring
After testing it out and making sure it didn’t break the game too badly, I thought, “Hey, why not share this with other folks?” So, I’m putting it out there. Keep in mind, though, this is just a fun project I did. I’ve been playing around with about 28 or more options for this one. Use it at your own risk, and remember, it might mess with your game experience.
Wrapping Up
So, that’s my little adventure into making a trainer for Helldivers 2. It was a fun challenge, and I learned a lot along the way. If you’re into this sort of thing, give it a shot! Just remember to back up your game files first, just in case. Happy gaming, everyone!
