Okay, so the other day I saw this thing called a “Fat Boy Candy Bar” and I was like, what the heck is that? I’m always up for trying weird new snacks, so I decided to make one myself. Here’s how it went down:
Gathering the Goods
First, I needed to figure out what even goes into this thing. I did some digging, and it turns out it’s pretty simple, just a few basic items:
- Ice cream sandwiches – The cheap kind, you know, the ones that stick to the paper?
- Chocolate shell topping– The kind that hardens when it hits something cold.
- Sprinkles – Because everything’s better with sprinkles.
The Construction Process
Alright, time to get to work. This is where it got a little messy, but hey, that’s half the fun, right?
- Unwrapping – The first mission was to peel all of the ice cream sandwiches, some of them were all broken.
- Stacking -I stacked that sandwiches, building my Fat Boy tower. It was a little wobbly, but I made it work.
- The Chocolate Bath– Next up, I coated this beast using chocolate shell. I just poured it all over, making sure to get every nook and cranny.
- Sprinkle Time – I had to sprinkle the whole ice cream, I made sure every inch was covered in colorful goodness.
The Final Result
It was a little messy, and definitely not the prettiest thing I’ve ever made, It was HUGE. Like, seriously, this thing was a monster. I had to cut off a slice to even eat it, and let me tell you, it was rich. Super sweet, super chocolatey, and super cold, I felt like I was ten years old again, I even got a brain freeze!
Would I make it again? Maybe. It’s not exactly health food, but it was a fun experiment. If you’re looking for a crazy, over-the-top dessert project, give the Fat Boy Candy Bar a try. Just be prepared for a sugar rush!
