Okay, so I got this idea to find some movies that are kinda like “Triangle.” You know, that movie with the time loops and all that mind-bending stuff? I really dig those types of films, so I figured, why not try to find more?
First, I just went straight to Google. Typed in “movies like Triangle” – super basic, I know. It gave me a bunch of lists, some from like, movie review sites and others from random blogs.
I started clicking through some of those lists. I skimmed through a couple of articles, quickly looking for titles I didn’t recognize. I also checked out some Reddit threads where people were asking the same thing. Always good to see what other movie fans are saying.
Some Solid Recommendations
- Timecrimes (Los Cronocrímenes)-A lot of people were comparing this to “Triangle,” something about a guy getting caught in a time loop.
- Coherence – This one’s supposed to be about a dinner party where some weird stuff happens, because a comet, that related.
- Primer– I’ve heard of this one before. It’s supposed to be super complicated, like, you need a diagram to understand it.
- Predestination-Based on the movie title, I think it related time travel and some big twist.
So, after gathering those names, I decided to look up their trailers on YouTube. I mean, you gotta see what the movie’s vibe is like, right? The trailers for “Timecrimes” and “Coherence” definitely caught my eye. “Primer,” not gonna lie, the trailer looked confusing as heck, but in a good way, it had some mystery element.
Next, I checked if any of these were streaming on services I have, like Netflix or Amazon Prime. No luck with “Timecrimes” on the services I use, but “Coherence” was on one of them! Score!
So, I added “Coherence” to my watchlist. “Timecrimes” and “Primer” I’ll have to, figure out later. Maybe I’ll have to… borrow them from a friend, you know how it is.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure in finding some “Triangle”-like movies. It wasn’t exactly rocket science, just some good old-fashioned searching and clicking. Now I’ve got some new mind-benders to check out. Gonna make some popcorn and dive in!
