Alright, so, I started messing around with this comic, “Marvel’s Voices Infinity Comic Vol 1 8”. It’s been kind of a journey, you know?
First off, I got my hands on the digital version. Then, I started reading. It kicked off with this character, America Chavez. She’s in the main story and some flashbacks, it looks like.
I noticed there were a couple of other characters, Tommy and Billy Maximoff, popping up in both the main story and the flashbacks too. Feels like they’re pretty important to the whole thing.
Main Characters
- America Chavez: She’s the main one, all over the story and flashbacks.
- Tommy Maximoff: Shows up with America, seems like a buddy or something.
- Billy Maximoff: Same deal as Tommy, in the main story and flashbacks.
So, I kept digging. I found out this is part of something called “Avengers Academy: Marvel’s Voices Infinity Comic”. This particular issue is named “Orientation Day – Part 1: All Abuzz”. It came out on June 26, 2024, but the cover says just “June”.
I stumbled upon a synopsis by this guy, Rob Johnson. He mentioned that America Chavez is the ex-Young Avenger in this issue. That got me curious about her backstory. It was a fun and exciting reading.
Then there’s this Iceman part written and drawn by Luciano Vecchio. The story is all about Bobby Drake, aka Iceman, and it’s actually pretty touching. Apparently, he helped terraform Mars, which is wild. So, I read that too. It was more of a side thing but still a good time. I thought, why not share this? Maybe someone will find it interesting.
Basically, I spent a good chunk of time exploring this comic. It was a mix of reading, figuring out who’s who, and just enjoying the stories. Not gonna lie, it was pretty cool to dive into this little corner of the Marvel Universe. If you’re into comics, might be worth checking out. It was definitely an experience.
