Okay, so I finally got around to checking out this comic everyone’s been talking about, “Marvel’s Voices Infinity Comic Vol 1 8”. It’s been, uh, quite the experience, let me tell you.
First, I grabbed my tablet, you know, where I read all my digital comics. Fired up the app, searched for the title, and there it was. Downloaded it, which took like, no time at all, thankfully. My internet’s been a bit wonky lately.
Diving In
So, I started reading. Honestly, the first few pages, I was just kind of getting my bearings. Figuring out who’s who, what’s what. It mentioned something about invisible demons, but America says they aren’t hurting anyone, so I guess that’s fine. There was a lot of talk about a guy named Iceman, or Bobby Drake. Apparently, this used to be called “Marvel’s Voices: Iceman Infinity Comic” at first, which is kind of a mouthful if you ask me. I also saw that some guy named Luciano Vecchio did both the writing and drawing. That’s pretty cool, gotta give props where they’re due.
Getting Into the Groove
- Reading through it more: I kept going, you know, flipping through the pages. It’s all digital, so no actual flipping, but you get the idea.
- Noticing the art: The art style, it’s, well, it’s definitely something. Not really my usual cup of tea, but I can see why some people might dig it. It’s kind of vibrant, I guess?
- Trying to follow the story: The story started to pick up a bit. Seems like Iceman’s had a busy year, something about terraforming Mars, which sounds pretty wild.
Wrapping Up
Finished the whole thing in one sitting. It wasn’t too long, which is good, ’cause my attention span isn’t what it used to be. I gotta say, it was a decent read. Not sure if I’ll be rushing out to get the next volume, but it definitely kept me entertained for a bit. And hey, it looks like people have been chatting about this comic online, so I might check out those discussions later to see what others thought of it.
So, yeah, that was my little adventure with “Marvel’s Voices Infinity Comic Vol 1 8”. Maybe not a life-changing experience, but a good way to kill some time, I guess.
