Hey folks, you won’t believe what I got into today. So, I was on a mission, right? Trying to find some flicks similar to “The Hunt”. That movie was a wild ride, and I needed more of that thrill. So I started digging around, and let me tell you, the internet is a goldmine if you know where to look.
First, I jumped onto a couple of forums, you know, the usual spots where movie buffs hang out. I saw some discussions about movies similar to “The Hunt”, and people were throwing around names like there’s no tomorrow. Got a few titles from there, but I wanted more.
Then, I hit up those movie database sites. It was really a long time work for me. These places are cool because they have these “similar movies” sections. You type in a movie, and boom, they give you a whole list of others that are kinda like it. It’s like magic, seriously. Browsed through a bunch of those, added a few more to my list. I was really careful, and checked one by one.
But here’s where it got interesting. I stumbled upon this article, maybe from some blog, I don’t remember clearly. It was all about movies with that same human-hunting-human vibe. Super intense, right? They listed out a bunch, explained why they’re similar to “The Hunt”. That article was a jackpot. It mentioned this 1932 film, “The Most Dangerous Game”. Old, but it sounded right up my alley.
Here is what I got eventually:
- “The Silence” (2019) – Found this one on Netflix. It’s a horror flick, a bit different but still thrilling.
- “The Most Dangerous Game” (1932) – This one’s a classic. Turns the tables on a big game hunter, which is pretty cool.
- “Chinatown” (1974), “Oldboy” (2003) – These two kept popping up, so I figured they must be good.
- “Child’s Play” (1988), “The Hot Chick” (2002) – A bit off-track, but hey, variety is the spice of life, right?
After hours of searching, I ended up with this massive list. There are like 75 films that are in some way similar to “The Hunt”. 75, can you believe it? Made by fans in Aotearoa, New Zealand, so you know it’s legit. They even pull their data from TMDb, which is pretty neat.
So yeah, that’s my adventure for today. Found some awesome movies, got a bit carried away, but hey, that’s how it goes when you’re passionate about something. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a movie marathon to start. Catch you guys later!
