So, I messed around with setting up a server for Palworld the other day, you know, just to see what it’s all about. And let me tell you, figuring out the admin commands was a bit of a trip. First off, I had to actually get the server up and running, which, thankfully, wasn’t too much of a headache since I’ve done similar stuff before.
Once I had the server going, I was like, “Okay, now how do I actually control this thing?” That’s where the admin commands come in. I did some digging, found a list of commands, and started experimenting. Initially, I realized I needed to enable admin privileges. No problem, used the /AdminPassword command followed by my chosen password, and boom, I was in.
The first thing I tried was the /ShowPlayers command. Typed it in, hit enter, and bam, there was a list of everyone on the server. Pretty cool, right? Then I got a bit more adventurous. Wanted to see if I could teleport to someone, you know, just to make an entrance.
Found the /TeleportToPlayer command and had to get the player’s ID. So, I used /ShowPlayers again to grab their ID and then used the teleport command. And guess what? It worked! I popped up right next to them. They were probably freaked out, but hey, it was all in good fun.
Then I started playing around with kicking and banning people, just testing it out, of course. /KickPlayer and /BanPlayer worked like a charm. Typed in the command, the player’s ID, and poof, they were gone. I felt a little powerful, not gonna lie.
- /AdminPassword: Enable the admin mode.
- /ShowPlayers: Show you a list of everyone who’s online.
- /TeleportToPlayer: Boom, you’re right next to whoever you want.
- /KickPlayer: Give someone the boot.
- /BanPlayer: Give someone the boot, but for a longer time.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I messed with:
There are a bunch of other commands too, like broadcasting messages with /Broadcast, shutting down the server, and even saving the world state. I didn’t mess with those too much, but it’s good to know they’re there. I did use the /Save command to ensure my progress is maintained.
Honestly, it was pretty fun messing around with these commands. Made me feel like a god in my own little Palworld universe. If you’re setting up your own server, I definitely recommend checking them out. Just be careful not to go too power-crazy, you know?
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with Palworld admin commands. Hope you found it entertaining or at least a little bit helpful. If you’ve got any questions or want to share your own server stories, hit me up!
