Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Palworld game lately, and let me tell you, it’s pretty addictive. I wanted to set up my own little world, so I started a single-player game. Everything was going great until I realized I wanted a bit more control, you know, like an admin.
So, I did some digging. Turns out, even in single-player mode, you gotta set an admin password if you wanna use those sweet admin commands. It’s not super obvious, but hey, that’s why I’m here to share my struggles.
First off, I opened up the game’s settings. I hunted around until I found the place to put in an admin password. It’s right there in the server settings, but like I said, not totally in your face.
Set Up the Password
- Start the Palworld.
- Find the config file for your server.
- Open that bad boy up with a text editor.
- Look for the line that says “AdminPassword” or something similar.
- Type in your new password after the equals sign. Don’t forget it!
- Save the file.
Once I did that, I went back into my game. Then, I opened the chat window and typed in forward slash AdminPassword, followed by the password I just set. Hit enter, and boom! I got a message saying I was now an admin.
It took a bit of trial and error to figure this out. Like, I tried a couple of different things before I got the order right. But once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing. Now I can teleport around, spawn items, and do all sorts of fun admin-y things. It definitely makes the single-player experience a lot more, well, whatever I want it to be!
So yeah, that’s how I got my admin powers in Palworld’s single-player mode. Hope this helps someone else out there who might be scratching their head over the same thing. It’s a bit of a process, but totally worth it in the end.
