So, last week, I was browsing around, and I stumbled upon this news piece about Simone Ling. You know, the kind of stuff that makes you pause and think. Apparently, this artist, Simone Ling, along with a couple of other folks—John Mendez, who was a DJ known as Silent Servant, and a musician named Jose Luis Vasquez—all passed away.
I did a bit of digging. It looks like they were found last Thursday. Mendez, he was 46, and Simone was 43. They were a couple, from what I gathered. Vasquez, on the other hand, was the lead singer of a band called Soft Moon. Pretty heavy stuff, right?
- First, I read this one report dated January 22nd, 2024. It mentioned three artists with “deep roots and human connections” in the scene who died in what seemed like a “tragedy.”
- Then, another piece from the same day confirmed that John Mendez, also known as Silent Servant, and Simone Ling were found dead.
- Next, I came across an article from January 25th. It stated that Jose Luis Vasquez, along with DJ Silent Servant and his partner, Simone Ling, were discovered on Thursday.
- After that, I found a piece from January 23rd that talked about Jose Luis Vasquez, 44, the founding member of Soft Moon, being found dead along with John Juan Mendez.
- Finally, there was a press release from January 20th, from Triangle Agency, saying that Silent Servant, whose real name was Juan Mendez, died of unknown causes.
The whole thing felt pretty surreal. I mean, these were people with lives, careers, and connections. And then, just like that, they’re gone. It’s one of those moments that really makes you appreciate the time we have and the people around us.
I just wanted to share this because it struck me. I thought I’d put it out there, and maybe we could all take a moment to remember them and send some good vibes their way.
Anyway, that’s my piece for today. Life’s unpredictable, so let’s make the most of it, yeah? Take care, folks.
