Alright, so I was browsing the internet the other day, looking for a way to keep track of my stats in this game called THE FINALS. I mean, the game is hella fun, but I wanted to see how I was actually doing, you know? Which loadout is my best, which mode am I actually good at, stuff like that.
So I started digging around, and I found a bunch of websites and tools that claimed to do just that. Some of them just pulled data from Steam or PlayStation, showing playtime and achievements, which is cool and all, but not really what I was after. I wanted something more detailed, something that could track my performance in each match.
Then I stumbled upon this “THE FINALS stat tracker” thingy. I don’t even remember where I found it exactly, probably some forum or a random website. It had some info about tracking your stats with every loadout, and checking graphs, and saving every scoreboard of your matches. I was like “OK, it sounds interesting, let’s try it!” And the site mentioned something about an API, so I guessed it was some kind of community project, maybe on GitHub.
First, I tried to see if I could find it on GitHub, just to check the code and see what it’s all about. I typed “the finals stat tracker” into the search bar. There were some results but all of them was not I needed. I couldn’t find the exact one mentioned on the website, but I did find some other projects that seemed to do similar things.
Anyway, I decided to give it a shot. I went back to the website and tried to follow the instructions. This tracker promised to track every round and save every scoreboard, so I figured I’d give it a try. It wasn’t as straightforward as I hoped. I had to put my in-game name somewhere, and there was something about an API key. I just ignored it. I’m not a tech guy, I just wanna play the game and see my stats, man.
I played a few matches, trying out different weapons and strategies. After each match, I went back to the tracker and refreshed the page. And guess what? It actually worked! It showed my kills, deaths, assists, and even the damage I dealt in each round. It had all sorts of graphs and charts, showing my performance over time. Pretty neat, huh?
I kept using the tracker for a few days, and I started to see some patterns. Turns out, I’m way better with the shotgun than I thought. And I suck at the objective modes, gotta work on that. The tracker also lets you compare your stats with other players, which is kinda cool. I found out I’m in the top 10% for kills, not bad, not bad.
But the best part is, the tracker also lets you “star” your favorite players. It’s like adding them to a list, and then they show up at the top of the leaderboard every time you visit. It’s a great way to keep track of your friends or those pro players you admire.
- Pros:
- Tracks every match in detail.
- Shows graphs and charts of your performance.
- Lets you compare your stats with others.
- You can “star” your favorite players.
So yeah, that’s my experience with THE FINALS stat tracker. It’s a pretty useful tool if you’re serious about the game and want to improve your skills. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done. If you’re playing THE FINALS, I definitely recommend checking it out. You might be surprised by what you find. And if you are a developer, well, there seems to be an open API, so have fun with that!
I’m gonna keep using it and see how much I can improve. Maybe one day I’ll even reach the top of the leaderboards. Who knows?
