Let me tell you about my latest project, it’s about Kid Venom. I got really into this character after reading a bit about him, and I figured, why not dive deeper?
Getting Started
First, I started gathering all the info I could find. I read that Kid Venom made his debut in some comic called “Death of the Venomverse.” Apparently, he’s not your typical symbiote-powered hero. He’s from 10th-century Japan. That got me hooked.
Digging Deeper
Next, I delved into the story. This kid, Kintaro, was his name. He protected his village from some weird symbiote attacks. How did he do it? He bonded with a symbiote himself! He called it Clinter, and that’s how he became Kid Venom. The whole idea of a symbiote hero in ancient Japan was just too cool.
- Read about Kid Venom’s first appearance in “Death of the Venomverse.”
- Learned about Kintaro and his village.
- Discovered how he bonded with the symbiote Clinter.
Understanding the Character
Then, I wanted to know more about his powers. It turns out that like other symbiotes, Kid Venom has some pretty neat abilities. He’s got this warning sense, kind of like Spider-Man’s Spider-Sense, but it’s because of the symbiote. He can also swing around using these “webs” that the symbiote makes. Plus, he can change his appearance. All this makes him a pretty formidable hero.
Exploring the Family Tree
But that’s not all. I found out that Venom has a bunch of offspring. There’s Carnage, of course, but also others like Scream, Lasher, and even one called Sleeper. It’s like a whole symbiote family drama! This made me realize how big the Venom universe really is.
Putting It All Together
Finally, I decided to put all this into a neat little project. I compiled all the chapters of Kid Venom’s story from “Death of the Venomverse” into a one-shot. It was a lot of work, but seeing it all come together was so satisfying. Kid Venom’s story is unique, and I wanted to capture that ancient Japan vibe mixed with the classic symbiote action.
This whole experience got me thinking about how deep the lore can go with these comic book characters. Kid Venom is not just another version of Venom; he’s got his own story, his own setting, and his own unique powers. It’s been a wild ride exploring all this, and I’m excited to see where Marvel takes Kid Venom next. I found out this character would show up again in January 2024.
