Okay, so, I was trying to get into this whole “Absolute Power” thing from DC Comics. You know, it’s their big summer event, and I heard it was shaking things up big time. I figured, why not? Sounds like a blast, right? So I dove in, and man, it was a wild ride.
First, I had to figure out where to even start. It’s like, this whole universe is so massive, where do you even begin? I did a little digging, and people were saying to start with Absolute Power #4. Yeah, you heard that right, issue number four! It sounds backward, but trust me, it sets the stage for everything else. It’s like the prologue of the story.

After that, I moved on to this other thing called the DC All In Special #1. I think it came out in October or something. This one really kicks things off. It’s like, the heroes are trying to unite everyone after all the craziness in “Absolute Power.” Oh, and Darkseid is back! You know, the big bad guy? It was nuts!

Then I got my hands on Absolute Power #1. I know, I know, it’s out of order, but that’s just how it is. This is the start of the main series, the core of the event. It’s written by Mark Waid and drawn by Dan Mora, and these guys are like, legends. The story was intense, lots of action, lots of drama. I was hooked.

From there, I just followed the main series. Absolute Power #2, then #3. Each issue just kept getting crazier. The whole thing is about Amanda Waller, this super-powerful government lady, and she’s trying to take away everyone’s powers. It’s like, a power struggle on a cosmic scale. Pretty wild stuff.

Now, there’s also this other series called Task Force VII. Apparently, it ties into the main event. I found that there were two parts to this series that connected to Absolute Power, so I read Task Force VII #1-3 after Absolute Power #1, and then Task Force VII #4-5 after Absolute Power #2. Finally, I read Task Force VII #6-7 after Absolute Power #3.

My Personal Timeline
So, basically, I jumped around a bit, but it all made sense in the end. It was like putting together a puzzle. And let me tell you, this “Absolute Power” event? It’s a game-changer. It’s going to affect the whole DC Universe, I can feel it. It was a crazy, messy, but totally awesome reading experience. If you’re a DC fan, you gotta check it out. Just be prepared to do a little bit of mental gymnastics to keep up with the reading order!
