Today, I am gonna talk about a little puzzle piece named Oliver. He’s a cute little fella with a round head, all colorful with blue and orange spots. So, I got this idea from a story where Oliver is trying to find where he fits in the world, you know, like, does he belong in a unicorn’s mane, or maybe as a tentacle on a pirate squid? Sounds wild, right?
So I started thinking, what if I try to figure out Oliver’s place in a real-life puzzle? First thing I did was grab a bunch of puzzles from my attic. Dusty, old things, some with animals, some with landscapes. I laid them all out on my living room floor – quite a sight, I tell ya.
Finding Oliver’s Spot
- Tried matching Oliver with the colors first. I held him up against a puzzle with a blue sky. Nope, didn’t fit.
- Then I moved on to shapes. Oliver’s got this unique round head, so I looked for pieces with a similar curve. Found a few that were close, but still no luck.
- I even tried forcing him into some spots – gently, of course! But Oliver, he’s a stubborn little piece. He just wouldn’t budge.
After a couple of hours, I was about to give up. But then, I noticed this one puzzle, a picture of a starry night. It had a spot that looked just about the right size and shape for Oliver. With a little wiggle and a push, guess what? Oliver slipped right in! It was like he was meant to be there all along.
So, what did I learn from this little experiment? Well, sometimes you gotta try a lot of different places before you find the right fit. And sometimes, the place you’re meant to be is where you least expect it. Just like Oliver, we all have our unique spot in this big, crazy world. We just gotta keep looking until we find it.
