Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little projects. Today, I’m diving deep into the world of “X-Men Forever.” Yeah, you heard that right, I’m going to read all the X-Men comics. Not just a few, but all of them, can you believe it? It’s a wild ride, and I figured, why not share the chaos with you all?
So, first things first, I had to figure out where to even start. X-Men, duh, right? I began doing some searching on the web, which turned out to be quite time-consuming. But I discovered something useful: if you don’t know where to start reading the X-Men Comics, start from the beginning. I mean, there are so many stories, so many characters, it’s like, where do I even begin? I stumbled upon this cool article that said if you’re a newbie, you should start with the publication order. Sounds simple enough, but trust me, it’s a lot.

I gathered all my comics, and let me tell you, it’s a massive pile. I spent the whole weekend just organizing them. Publication order means I started from the very first X-Men comic. It’s kinda cool seeing how the characters evolved over time. The art, the stories, everything changes so much.
Then, I got to reading. I started with the original Uncanny X-Men. It’s kind of a primary X-Men narrative. Man, those early comics are something else. The way they talk, the way they fight, it’s all so dramatic. I powered through the first few issues, and then I hit the “Dark Phoenix Saga.” That storyline is a classic. It’s intense, and I can see why people love it so much.
Reading all these comics is not easy. It took me days to get through just a part of them. I found out there’s something called Ultimate X-Men, which is a whole different universe. I decided to stick to the main storyline for now, but it’s tempting to jump into that too. By the way, there’s also a new relaunch coming titled X-Men: From the Ashes, and I’m hyped for that too.
Here’s a little breakdown of what I did:
- Gathered all the X-Men comics I could find.
- Organized them in publication order, which took forever.
- Started reading from Uncanny X-Men #1.
- Read through major storylines like the “Dark Phoenix Saga.”
- Took breaks because, man, it’s a lot to take in.
Honestly, there are like, a gazillion X-Men comics out there. Some smarty-pants said there are over 50 omnibuses just for X-Men, and the number is still growing! And I read somewhere that the X-Men are getting a lot of attention again because of Deadpool and Wolverine, and the hit animated series, X-Men ’97. It’s crazy. This whole thing is way bigger than I thought. But I’m not giving up. I’m going to keep reading and keep you all updated on my progress. I found some lists and guides online, which helped a lot. I also joined a few forums where people discuss this stuff, and they gave me some good tips.

And, just when I thought I was getting a handle on things, I found out about X-Men Red. People are saying it’s the best series in the current era, and this guy Ewing is doing amazing things with the characters. Now I’m even more excited to keep going!
It’s a lot of work, but it’s fun. Plus, I get to see all these cool characters and stories. I’m learning a lot about the X-Men universe, and it’s pretty awesome. I’ve always been a fan of the X-Men. They’re mutants, they’re different, and they fight for what’s right. It’s inspiring, you know?
So, that’s my journey so far. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m not even halfway through. But I’m committed, and I’m going to keep pushing forward. Stay tuned for more updates, and let me know in the comments if you’ve ever tried to read all the X-Men comics. Let’s share this crazy experience together!
Alright, folks, that’s it for now. Keep it real, and keep reading!
